ASHEVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA (August 3, 2016) – Asheville Outlets, iHeart Radio and The North Carolina Arboretum will team up to host Kids Day on Saturday, August 13th. While finishing up back-to-school shopping, families will enjoy live music and entertainment, interactive booths and displays and a fashion show.
“We always like to host events that offer something fun to do that is entertaining and free for the whole family,” said Sharon Morgan, General Manager, Asheville Outlets.
Kids Day kicks off at 11 a.m. and lasts until 3 p.m. The fun includes arts and crafts with Macaroni Kid, face painting, balloon art, magic, live music and more. Area businesses and non-profits will set-up interactive booths and displays including: AB Tech, American Red Cross, Black Orthodontics, Chimney Rock State Park, ELIADA Foster Care, Franklin School of Innovation, Green Hands Healing Center, Happy Gifts & More LLC, Launch, BWAR Asheville Chapter and UNC Asheville Athletics. Brother Wolf Animal Rescue and more! At noon, Asheville Outlets retailers will highlight the latest fall looks for boys and girls with a back-to-school fashion show. Franklin School of Innovation students will perform at 2 p.m.
