MartketPlace PHL Announces Chickie's & Pete's and Hudson Newsstand as Merchants of the Quarter

PHILADELPHIA — Feb. 27, 2018 — MarketPlace PHL at the Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) names Chickie’s & Pete’s and Hudson Newsstand as the 2017-2018 second quarter restaurant and retail Merchants of the Quarter.

The Merchants of the Quarter are determined by MarketPlace PHL’s award-winning customer service program, the Cutting EDGE! (Excellence Drives Great Experiences). The program motivates and rewards merchants based on delivering superb customer service and participation in airport marketing initiatives by awarding EDGE points. The merchants that earn the most EDGE points at the end of each quarter are awarded the restaurant and retail Merchant of the Quarter trophy.

Chickie’s & Pete’s, located in Concourse A-West near Gate A22, is Philadelphia’s sports bar and crab house. Chickie’s offers the combination of an easy-going atmosphere with game-day excitement. The classic menu offers crab fries, seafood, sandwiches, pizza, wings and more. The restaurant also provides full bar service to travelers looking to relax before and after their flights.
