Nantucket Island Resorts announces collaboration with Bowers & Wilkins to offer guests complimentary headphones and speakers. The hotel collection will also continue the nine-year partnership with BMW to extend vehicles to travelers who book The Wauwinet, White Elephant and White Elephant Village’s top three-bedroom suites.
White Elephant, part of the Nantucket Island Resorts, will offer Bowers & Wilkins P5 Wireless headphones and T7 portable Bluetooth speakers for borrow on a first-come first-served basis. Bowers & Wilkins, used in the most iconic recording studios in the world, including Abbey Road – the studio used by The Beatles and Pink Floyd – has been producing the world’s finest sound systems for more than 50 years. The stylish headphones are wrapped in leather, while the speakers weigh a mere two pounds and provide full-bodied sound – ideal for a day at the beach. The White Elephant’s Easy Street Loft and Loft at 32 Main, as well as The Wauwinet’s Anchorage House will also be outfitted with Bowers & Wilkins speakers.
Also in partnership news, guests who book the top premium three-bedroom accommodations at Nantucket’s White Elephant, White Elephant Village, or The Wauwinet, will receive the keys to a 2017 BMW vehicle for the duration of their stay. The fleet of nine cars, equipped with Bowers & Wilkins speakers, will include a new electric model from the 5-series in addition to other hybrid and gas options. Charging stations will be available at the properties as well. The complimentary BMWs save guests up to $450 per day by forgoing a jeep rental. Travelers can take the BMWs on a drive through Siasconset, a former fishing village with rose-and-ivy covered cottages, explore a different beach every day (Nantucket offers 80 miles of swimmable beach), enjoy an organic lunch at Bartlett’s Farm, and see the oldest working windmill in the U.S., the Nantucket Windmill, built in 1745.
