West Palm Beach, Fla. —The holiday décor is up and the plans have been made for the 2015 holiday season of shopping at Palm Beach Outlets. The popular shopping center will open at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 26, and remain open until 1 a.m. on Black Friday. The stores will reopen later that day from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
To help promote and build excitement for Thanksgiving night and Black Friday shopping, the WIRK radio morning show is playing the Palm Beach Outlets “Price Is Right.” Each morning through Nov. 20, the radio hosts are featuring an Outlets store and one of its items. Listeners guess the retail price and the one who guesses correctly wins a Black Friday Black Card, which includes a reserved parking spot, a fast pass to skip lines in participating stores, a swag bag and a meal voucher to be used on Black Friday.
From Nov. 23-25, the WIRK morning show will broadcast live at Palm Beach Outlets and solicit listeners to donate food to the Pam Beach County Food Bank. Every listener who drops off a food or monetary donation will get a chance to register to win a Black Friday Black Card.
To add to the festive holiday atmosphere on Black Friday, Nov. 27, there will be a kids’ train track, Christmas trees sold on site through Dec. 24, games in center court, carolers from noon to 3 p.m. and a two-hour radio remote with WLDI. The radio station will set up a festive Christmas tree and the first 20 listeners each hour can pick a ball off the tree. Each ball will include concert tickets, gift cards, Jingle Ball or Madonna tickets. In addition, there will be two large prizes under the tree that a lucky individual will win.
