Palm Beach Outlets ties into city’s Summer in Paradise with its own artist-decorated playhouse

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (June 7, 2018) — Palm Beach Outlets is partnering with the City of West Palm Beach to bring attention to Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach County’s goal to build simple, decent and affordable housing for low-income families around the world. It’s part of the city’s Summer in Paradise program from June 7 – July 26, which includes concerts, pop up performances, storytelling, games, activities, 4thon Flagler, unique dining, FlaminGo Croquet and 15 unique Fairy Tale Playhouses.

Summer in Paradise is collaboration between the city,Habitat for Humanity, 14 local charities and 15 Palm Beach County artists, who have transformed 15 child-sized playhouses into 15 beloved fairy tales.Palm Beach Outlets also is collaborating and isfeaturing a unique playhouse of its own, painted with a Florida theme by localartist Melissa Rinaldi of Go Coastal Studio in Jupiter.

Guests may register to win the playhouse at Palm Beach Outlets’ customer service center in the food pavilion. The winner will be randomly drawn.

Then take the free blue line trolley to Palm Beach Outlets and be sure to see and register to win our playhouse before shopping.”

Local artists painted the city’s playhouses to represent a well-loved fairy tale that ties into one of the 78 countries that Habitat for Humanity serves through its Global Village initiative. Each playhouse is paired with a local nonprofit organization and at the summer SIP finale on Thurs., July 26, the 15 playhouses will be auctioned off live with proceeds benefiting the respective charities.

Tours of the city’s playhouses will be available from 8 a.m.-10 p.m. at the city’s Great Lawn at the West Palm Beach Waterfront (east of Centennial Square and Clematis Street Fountain). Palm Beach Outlets’ playhouse may be viewed during normal shopping hours.
