NANTUCKET, MA (Holiday 2016) – Enchanting Nantucket annually presents one of New England's finest traditions -- Christmas Stroll weekend, part of the month-long celebration known as Nantucket Noel organized by the Nantucket Island Chamber of Commerce. The 43rd Annual Christmas Stroll will be held December 2-4; the event features Santa arriving on his nautical sleigh with the help of the Coast Guard. Upon arrival, Santa will parade through Main Street to the Jared Coffin House, where he meets with children young and old.
At the top of Main Street, visitors will find the Magical Talking Tree and a Christmas Marketplace showcasing the talents of local businesses - from foods and crafts to handmade wares and informational tables. Carolers in Victorian costumes, bell ringers, student choirs and other musicians perform on the Main Street stage as well as stroll through town performing; while visitors enjoy Nantucket's unique shops and restaurants.
