NANTUCKET, MASSACHUSETTS (Holiday 2017) – The 44th Annual Christmas Stroll will take place on enchanting Nantucket Island from December 1 - 3, 2017. The weekend features Santa arriving on his nautical sleigh with the help of the Coast Guard and then leading the parade through Main Street to the Jared Coffin House, where he meets with children young and old. Carolers in Victorian costumes, bell ringers, student choirs and other musicians perform on the Main Street stage as well as stroll through town performing, while visitors enjoy Nantucket's unique shops and restaurants.

The Jared Coffin House will once again host Santa Claus in the library upon his arrival to Nantucket. On Saturday, December 2 Santa Claus arrives at the Nantucket Boat Basin via a Coast Guard boat, hops on an antique fire truck, and rides up Main Street then down Centre Street to the Jared Coffin House. Here he is met by hundreds of children lined up on Broad Street, waiting for the chance to meet with him in the Jared Coffin House’s library. The Jared Coffin House will have holiday elves delivering hot cocoa to the families waiting in line. Children will depart the Jared Coffin House after meeting with Santa enjoying a goody bag filled with a Barnaby Bear Nantucket passport, candy cane and more treats.
