Julie Dawson Named Marketing Director at Outlets of Des Moines

DES MOINES, IOWA (June 5, 2017) – New England Development has named Julie Dawson as Marketing Director of Outlets of Des Moines in Altoona, Iowa.

Dawson previously served as event coordinator for the Altoona Chamber of Commerce where she managed events for the chamber to help promote area businesses. Previous to that, she worked for Mercy College of Health Sciences, as well as South East Polk Community School District. Dawson has held marketing positions with Integer Group Midwest and was an Assistant Buyer with Younkers department store.

Get “Art-Sea” at Palm Beach Outlets

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla./ May 30, 2017 — “Let’s Get Art-Sea” — that’s the theme of a new summer program that Palm Beach Outlets is offering in partnership with Kids Need More Art — a teacher-created, advocacy-based children’s art studio based in Jupiter. Children ages 5 to 10 will have the opportunity to create artwork with the guidance of a certified art teacher. The artwork theme will be focused on the ocean with an emphasis on conservation.

Outlets of Little Rock Announces Tesla Superchargers Now Operational

LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS (May 2017) – Outlets of Little Rock is pleased to announce that the state’s first Tesla Superchargers are now operational. They are located at the north end of the shopping center.

“The Superchargers will accommodate Tesla customers traveling from Dallas to Memphis along I30. Customers can stop in to charge and visit our retailers while they wait,” explains Teresa Hendrix, General Manager of Outlets of Little Rock.

Asheville Outlets Hosts Flea for Y'all

ASHEVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA (May 2017) – Asheville Outlets is the new home and host for Flea For Y’all the last Sunday of each month through October 2017. The event highlights a special partnership with OpenDoors of Asheville, the selected nonprofit for the 2017 season, to which The Flea will make a donation at each event. The Flea takes over the tree-lined lot next to Field and Stream. The next Asheville Outlets Flea for Y’all will be held on Sunday, May 28, 2017 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Outlets of Little Rock Announces Second Annual Memorial Day Sidewalk Sale

LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS (May 2017) – Outlets of Little Rock, Arkansas’ only outlet shopping center, has announced the center’s second annual Sidewalk Sale to be held Memorial Day Weekend, May 26 - 29, 2017. The event will present shoppers with additional savings. The center will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday.

Woody's Steaks & Wings Now Open at Asheville Outlets

ASHEVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA (April 12, 2017) – Woody’s Steaks & Wings is now open at the Asheville Outlets Food Court. Woody’s Steaks & Wings features Philly cheesesteak and chicken cheesesteaks, wings, meatball and sausage subs, burgers, delicious sides and homemade desserts.

Woody’s Steaks & Wings rounds out the offerings at Asheville Outlets which now include Acropolis Pizza Café, ChinaMax, Starbucks, Auntie Anne’s and Lindt Chocolate Shop. Woody’s Steaks & Wings is located across from Starbucks.

Asheville Outlets Announces Kids Day to Benefit Franklin School of Innovation

ASHEVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA (April 2017) – Asheville Outlets and Franklin School of Innovation will team up to host Kids Day at Asheville Outlets on Sunday, April 30, 2017 from 12 noon to 3 p.m. Kids Day provides an afternoon of entertainment for kids of all ages including, balloon art, a stilt walker/unicyclist, face painting, crafts, live music and more. The popular local groups The Buskits, as well as NC Mountain Music, will be on hand to perform. The afternoon’s activities are free to spectators and open to the public.

Franklin School of Innovation Students Design & Paint Mural in Asheville Outlets Food Court

ASHEVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA (April 2017) – As a special class project, Franklin School of Innovation art students submitted mural designs for the Asheville Outlets Food Court. The winning design is now being painted and is slated to be complete in April.

“The project has been an exciting journey for our art students,” said Katherine Robbins, Art Teacher, Franklin School of Innovation. “It is real-life experience! And, it is their first opportunity to work on a large scale project off school grounds,” Robbins continued.
