Palm Beach Outlets announces Black Friday plans

(Palm Beach Outlets) Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, will officially mark the start of the new retail center’s first holiday season when all of its 100-plus shops will be open at the stroke of midnight.

A few of the stores will open at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving. They are New York & Company Outlet, Nike Factory Store, Ulta, Express Factory Outlet, and Wilson’s Leather. At 10 p.m., Asics Outlet, Under Armour, Gap Factory Store, and Rawlings will open, and at 11 p.m., Greg Norman and Haggar Clothing Company will open.

Khaled Hashem: What’s exciting is that every day is so different. I look at our revenue and rates every day, I look at the VIP list and write them cards, I write birthday and anniversary cards for our team members, and then I usually have a couple of meetings.

(November 14, 2014) Nantucket Island Resorts has been named one of the “Top Places to Work in 2014” in the seventh annual employee-based survey project from The Boston Globe. This year, 125 Massachusetts-based companies made the list and Nantucket Island Resorts ranked 11th in the “Large Employer” category (250-999 employees) – an impressive feat as this was the first year the company was invited to participate in the survey. The results were published in the November 16, 2014 edition.

Retail options take off at LaGuardia Airport

(October 31, 2014) As LaGuardia Airport awaits modernization with terminal upgrades, improved transportation links and more efficient air-traffic control technology, its retail operation moves steadily forward. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Wednesday to celebrate the revitalization at Terminal B with the opening of a half dozen brand new shops and restaurants.

Airport retail developer MarketPlace Development implemented its first phase of an overall plan to upgrade retail options for travelers, 27 million of whom passed through LaGuardia Airport last year.

New York LaGuardia Renovations Move Forward With New Upscale Shops

(Travel Agent Central - October 21, 2014) LaGuardia Airport's Terminal B has opened upscale new shops, restaurants and services, according to retail developer MarketPlace Development. The upgrades are part of an overall plan for the new terminal.

Located in the center of the terminal, Tumi, Lacoste and Eddie Bauer brands are part of the upgrades, as are new restaurant options. Passenger services have also been upgraded. The Centurion Lounge by American Express opened in late summer and offers services to Amex card holders.
