Asheville Outlets Santa Arrival, Tree Lighting, and Free Santa Photos

ASHEVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA (Holiday 2017) – Asheville Outlets is pleased to welcome Santa Claus on Saturday, November 18 at 5 p.m. Santa will lead a parade featuring Enka Candler Fire Department and Enka High School Band leading all the through the center to officially light the 24-foot tree located in front of Forever 21. Peek inside the new Wegmans, opening in Medford on Sunday morning

All of the 95 Wegmans Food Markets locations nationwide have at least one thing in common: the store’s main entrance always leads to the produce section.

“That’s because we got our start as a produce push cart back in 1916 in Rochester, N.Y.,” explained Valerie Fox, Wegmans media relations coordinator.

Wegmans Opens in Medford

MEDFORD — They started lining up the dark and by the time the doors opened for the first time, they were more than 1,000 strong Sunday.

A fife and drum quartet playing spirited music harkening back to their Revolutionary War attire was not all that greeted the first customers of the new 120,000 square foot Wegmans at Meadow Glen in Medford on Opening Day Sunday.

Lots of smiling faces inside the store and some rock-bottom sales prices on everything from broccoli crowns to plain old milk were in no short supply as well.

Wegmans Opens This Weekend At Meadow Glen Mall

Wegmans will open its fifth Massachusetts location, which boasts a hefty 450-person workforce in 120,000 square feet of space, at Meadow Glen Mall in Medford Sunday morning. Boston’s CambridgeSide gets $30 million worth of love

Boston-based New England Development is wrapping up the $30 million renovation of its CambridgeSide Galleria, one of the first major urban malls in the U.S., built in 1990. Completion of the revived mall, renamed simply CambridgeSide, is set for this month. The project comprises about 100 shops and is the centerpiece of a 1.2 million-square-foot mixed-use development mere minutes from downtown Boston, in East Cambridge, one of the world’s largest high-tech and biotech innovation districts.

When Outlets of Des Moines opens Friday in Altoona, it will be more than a discount shoppers’ paradise. The $100 million project will fulfill eastern Polk County's decades-long desire for a regional shopping center. “There’s been a lack of large scale retail options on the east side and this will fill a need there,” said Michael Barelli, vice president of New England Development, the Boston-based company building the outlet mall.
