Michael T. DeSimone plays an integral role in New England Development’s real estate capital markets transactions including partnerships, acquisitions, and dispositions. In addition, Mr. DeSimone manages the firm’s financing activities and debt portfolio. He is also responsible for pro forma analyses to assess project and deal viability and has been involved in all mixed-use, retail, hospitality, multi-family, and office developments and investments of the firm. Mr. DeSimone started his career with New England Development affiliated companies at the regional mall management company WellsPark Group in 1997, moved to NED’s airport retail company MarketPlace Development in 2000, and began directly with New England Development in 2004.
Mr. DeSimone earned a degree in Finance from Bentley College and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Real Estate Finance Association. He may also be found on the sidelines with his two boys during their baseball and basketball seasons.
