(Asheville Citizen-Times December 17, 2014) Asheville Outlets has completed its management team with the hiring of Tammy Cox as marketing director and Megan Thorp as leasing manager/marketing assistant, according to a Wednesday announcement.
Outlet executives said they remain on track for a May opening at the intersection of I-40 and I-26 at Brevard Road.
"We are pleased to welcome Tammy and Megan to our team here in Asheville," General Manager Sharon Morgan said in a prepared statement. "We did a national search and are certain we have selected the two best candidates. Both are consummate marketing professionals who will help position the Asheville Outlets as the premier shopping destination in the region."
Ken McCain, operations manager and Joy Wells, office manager, joined Asheville Outlets in November, according to the announcement.
Massachusetts-based New England Development and New York-based Tremont Realty Capital are developing the outlets. Customers will have the opportunity to shop at roughly 75 manufacturer and retail stores and a food court when the properties open.
