(Jaunted - March 6, 2015) Fans of The Chew, Cleveland, or just celebrity chefs in general need to plan a little extra time in their travels, as there’s a new restaurant doing its thing at Washington-Dulles that might just be worthy of a layover.
Michael Symon and associates recently cut the ribbon on Bar Symon, and it is now open for business within Terminal D near Gate 16. We have not had a chance to enjoy a little airport dining as of yet, but it sounds like travelers can expect sandwiches, burgers, and other goodies—complete with both Greek and Italian influences.
The Lola Burger seems like a solid pick—complete with fried egg, pickled onions, bacon, and cheddar all on a challah bun. The rosemary fries on the side certainly don’t hurt things either.
We’ll add this to our restaurant to-do list; however, in the interim be sure to drop us a note if you’ve indulged at Bar Symon.
