CAMBRIDGE, MASSACHUSETTS (February 2020) – CambridgeSide (CambridgeSide.com) has announced the 2020 CambridgeSide Charity Race Series dates. The three-part series starts with Freedom Run 5K on Sunday, June 7, Run + Ride CambridgeSide on Sunday, August 2 and Cambridge Half Marathon on November 1, 2020. Races benefit local charities and include post-race celebrations at the center.

The Freedom Run is a patriotic 5k race through the heart of East Cambridge & Inman Square on a flat and fast course. The race starts & finishes at CambridgeSide and is immediately followed by a festive roof deck party. Registration includes a short sleeve technical t-shirt, 5 free parking passes, VIP perks for teams over 20 and post-race celebration on the roof deck at CambridgeSide featuring music, food and beverage. The 11th Annual Run + Ride is a kids only, FREE duathlon with biking and running around CambridgeSide! Run + Ride at CambridgeSide is for children ages 5-13 years old, with prizes, race t-shirts, giveaways, entertainment and more. Races are not timed, and the course is handicap accessible. All abilities are welcome. Registration will open in May.

The Cambridge Half Marathon is a 13.1-mile USATF certified course that starts & finishes at CambridgeSide. The fast and flat course takes runners through Cambridge featuring MIT, John W. Weeks Footbridge, Harvard Stadium, Charles River and Harvard Square. Registration includes quarter zip pullover, a half marathon training plan from the Heartbreak Hill Running Club, a race bib with a timing chip, an invitation to the post-race celebration with food and beverages.
