CambridgeSide Announces August Opening of MPowered by Equity Intelligence

Pop-Up Shop Highlights Local Minority and Women-Owned Businesses

CAMBRIDGE, MASSACHUSETTS (August 2021) – MPowered will open at CambridgeSide on August 18, 2021. The pop-up shop showcases local minority and women-owned businesses. MPowered is an interactive space celebrating diversity and equity in business with changing featured ventures. A grand opening celebration will be held at MPowered on Thursday, August 19 at 5:00 p.m. with a ribbon cutting ceremony officiated by City of Cambridge Mayor Sumbul Siddiqui.

 

MPowered will showcase a rotating lineup including Erb & Owens Skincare & Makeup, Ms. Bonafide Creations & Yoga, and Soap Her Girl Bath & Body Shop, among others. The first business to be featured is Planet Cards. MPowered seeks to promote existing small businesses that would like a short-term storefront opportunity.
