CAMBRIDGE, MASSACHUSETTS (September 2018) – CambridgeSide (CambridgeSide.com)
has announced the opening of Zing Bowl, a new and unique option for those who want to enjoy a fast, healthy and tasty meal. Located near the food court in an innovative kiosk, Zing Bowl offers Brazilian fare featuring high-energy foods, which are freshly prepared and quickly served. This is the first Zing Bowl stand-alone eatery; Zing Bowl favorites have developed a strong following over the past few years and can be found at farmers’ markets.
“The idea of this place started with a dream and a huge will to introduce Brazilian Culture and its rich, diverse and delicious healthy food to American people,” explains Zing Bowl founder Alex Pereira, a twenty year veteran in the financial sector who holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management. “My wife and I collaborate on Zing Bowl’s offerings, all prepared with the goal of delivering the most healthy and unique tasting experience available. Many of our dishes are new to the Boston market, and we also always carry a variety of staples for breakfast, lunch and dinner ‘on the go’,” he concluded.
Zing Bowl favorites include Smoothies, Salads (with or without a protein add on), Quinoa Bowls, Pure Unsweetened Organic Açaí Puree, Açaí Sorbet, Gluten-free Brazilian Cheese Roll and Gluten-free Tapioca Tacos - a new taste for many Americans using cassava starch.
“We are delighted to welcome the first Zing Bowl to CambridgeSide,” explains CambridgeSide Senior Marketing Director, Melissa LaVita. “Our shoppers enjoy diverse dining options at our center and Zing Bowl is the perfect addition,” she continued.
Zing Bowl is part of New England Development’s Pop-Up and Specialty Leasing program that provides shoppers with innovative shopping and dining options, as well as unique experiences, while also creating business opportunities for local and national entrepreneurs.
