Casa Loca Mexican Cantina To Open In Early September At University Station

Authentic Mexican Dishes Served in an Energetic Venue

WESTWOOD, MASSACHUSETTS (August 2020) - University Station has announced the September opening of Casa Loca Mexican Cantina at 174 University Avenue in Westwood, MA. Casa Loca is a new concept from the Wellesley Restaurant Group team that operates the successful LOCAL Kitchen & Drinks concepts in West Newton, Wayland, Wellesley, and Waltham.

Casa Loca features scratch-made Mexican dishes that are chef-driven, never frozen, and accessible for the every-day guest. Bite into Casa Loca’s soon-to-be-famous street tacos, sizzling fajitas, curated burrito bowls, 10 oz. legendary steak burgers, and oversized crisp salads.

The beverage menu showcases a wide selection of on-draft Margaritas, and an extensive international and domestic bottled-beer list. The warm, inviting décor includes cinnamon red booths, reclaimed wood-tables, rustic Spanish accents and oak floors, as well as a hand-painted wall mural by local Artist Ryan Carraccino.

Serving lunch and dinner daily, guests will be greeted at each seating with complimentary warm & salty tortilla chips and house salsa. Casa Loca “classics” include Mexican Street Corn, Tijuana Chicken Skewers, Clay Pot Beef Quesadilla, Tex-Mex Burger and more.
