CHESTNUT HILL, MASSACHUSETTS (September 2019) - Chestnut Hill Square (ChestnutHillSquare.com) presents Art in the Square, a free outdoor art and sculpture exhibition from now through October 20, 2019. The installation will feature sculptures from Studio Without Walls, including works from Anne Alexander, Anne Eder, Janet Kawada, Bette Ann Libby, Delanie Wise, Madeleine Lord, Stacey Piwinski, Maria Ritz, Kerri Schmidt, Dave Foley, Gregory Steinsieck, Gail Jerauld Bos and Barbara Fletcher.
Since 1998, Studios Without Walls has featured site specific sculptural installations beginning in the spring each year (StudiosWithoutWalls.org). Chestnut Hill Square will also display a mural next to Anthropologie this fall from Britt Flood of the Mosesian Center for the Arts of Watertown, Massachusetts (MosesianArts.org). This piece instills moments of discovery and growth in the community through public art and placemaking.
“We are delighted to present Art in the Square, a complimentary outdoor art exhibit at Chestnut Hill Square which features intriguing works from local artists,” says Rebekah Macchia, Chestnut Hill Square Marketing Director. “We are pleased to showcase the works of these talented area artists,” she adds.
