LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Feb. 25, 2015) — Outlets at Little Rock, featuring 75 outlet stores along I-30 in Little Rock’s Otter Creek area, announced a grand opening day of Friday, Oct. 16, 2015. Arkansas’ first outlet project will celebrate with a full weekend of festivities just in time for the busy holiday shopping season.
“We have a strong list of retailers on board,” said Michael Barelli, vice president of New England Development. “We know Arkansans are eager to start shopping, and the stores will be open in time for fall fashions and the start of holiday shopping.”
Outlets at Little Rock will be located at Gateway Town Center, ideally positioned 10 miles southwest of downtown Little Rock at the intersection of I-30 and I-430. The area offers convenient regional access for Arkansans and the many tourists who visit Little Rock throughout the year.
The Oct. 16 Grand Opening will feature a weekend of festivities that will be announced closer to the opening. It’s expected that the grand opening weekend will be a busy one with so many Arkansans and tourists traveling during one of the state’s most popular months for fall foliage watching and festivities across the state.
“We’re excited that the Grand Opening of Outlets at Little Rock will take place during one of the best months in the state for tourism and activity,” Barelli said. “Our opening weekend is also the last weekend of the Arkansas State Fair and one of those unique times of the year when hundreds of thousands of residents and visitors are out enjoying all the many great things Arkansas has to offer. We’re hopeful Outlets at Little Rock becomes part of their entertainment plans that weekend.”
Barelli said New England Development will begin announcing new stores a couple of months before the Grand Opening.
