Palm Beach Outlets celebrates 5-year anniversary

West Palm Beach, Fla. — It was exactly five years ago on Valentine’s Day that West Palm Beach Mayor Jeri Muoio joined other dignitaries at a grand opening ceremony to officially welcome the brand new, expansive shopping center to the city of West Palm Beach. Since then, Palm Beach Outlets has attracted millions of local, national and international visitors and supported many charities. To celebrate the 5th anniversary, a number of events, activities and sales have been planned for the public.

When - Thursday, Feb. 14- Monday, Feb. 18

What - Five Days of Social Media Giveaways and a $5 Search & Instagram contest

Test your knowledge of Palm Beach Outlets by answering questions for a chance to win a $100 giftcard at  

What – Shoppers are encouraged to search for different forms of a “5” on the property. Examples would include signs with a hand or a nickel on it. All signs will have the Palm Beach Outlets logo as well. Once they find one, they upload a photo of it to Instagram, include the @palmbeachoutlets tag, and then bring the “5” to customer service and show their Instagram post to receive a $5 gift card.

What - $5 Off Store Savings and Sidewalk Sale

Shoppers can receive an additional $5 off savings on already reduced pricing at the sidewalk sale. Details and a complete list of participating stores are listed on Some of the participating stores are Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store, Saks OFF 5TH, Cole Haan, Ann Taylor Factory and more.

What - Holiday Tastings Event

Palm Beach Outlets will be transformed into a food and beverage mecca as part of the “Unlimited Food, Wine and Craft Beer Holiday Tastings Event.” All ticket holders will be able to partake in unlimited samples from about 30 restaurants and beverage companies. They include favorites such as Ceviche Arigato, Basil Modern Italian Cuisine, The Catch Seafood, PigSty BBQ, Code Rum, Robot Brewing, Devour Brewing Co. and San Giuseppe Wine. Guests will also have the opportunity to interact with another 20 vendors.

VIP and General Admission tickets are available online at https:/ for $40 and $25, respectively. All guests will receive unlimited food and beverages but VIP ticket holders will be admitted to the event an hour early at 3 p.m. At the gate, general admission tickets will be $30. Admission is free for kids 6 years and younger with a paid adult admission.

When - Sunday, Feb. 17 from noon to 3 p.m.

What – Kids Day

Kids can partake in a fun filled day including a dance party, character appearances, face painting, balloon artistry, crafts, and fun foods, including cupcakes, candy, snow cones and more. In addition, children can leave their mark at Palm Beach Outlets by helping to paint a celebratory mural. Admission is free.
