PHILADELPHIA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT CONCESSIONS PROGRAM HONORED WITH TWO MOODIE DAVITT AWARDS

PHILADELPHIA — Oct. 28, 2021 — PHL Food & Shops at the Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) was recognized by Moodies Travel Journey Digital Awards 2021 with a "Best Content Marketing" award for their LIFEWTR Lounge concept. The airport was also named a winner in the "Star Story Americas: Stores, Administration, Logistics" category, part of Moodie Davitt’s FAB Superstars 2021 Awards for Chickie’s & Pete’s partnership with the Philadelphia Airport Marriott.

The Moodies Travel Journey Digital Awards 2021 recognizes digital, social media and marketing excellence across the airport and travel sectors, while the FAB Superstars 2021 Awards highlight the efforts and achievements of the staff in the travel food and beverage sector all around the world. Award winners for each category were announced in an online ceremony at the Virtual Travel Retail Expo.

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic shut-down, Chickie’s & Pete’s delivered meals to hundreds of guests staying at the Airport Marriott through PHL’s contactless ordering and delivery program, OrderAtPHL.com.
