When Palm Beach Outlets opened in West Palm Beach, it promised residents and visitors a complete shopping experience, one that would constantly evolve and offer patrons access to the best and trendiest retailers.

Construction and remodeling has never really finished, and in early 2015, three new shopping options were added, along with famed grocer Whole Foods.

And job searchers, brush up on your interview skills because in five months the Outlets at Little Rock will be opening.

This is the fifth year the shave has taken place at the travel hub, located in East Elmhurst.

Outlets of Little Rock Names Four New Employees to Management Team

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (May 7, 2015) — New England Development has named four new employees to the Outlets of Little Rock management team: Julie Adami, Melissa Boyle, Lauren Eddins and Gregory Roberts.

Outlets of Little Rock will be located in Gateway Town Center, positioned 10 miles southwest of downtown Little Rock, Ark., at the intersection of I-30 and I-430. Construction is underway for an October 16, 2015 grand opening.

Opening date for new Westwood Wegmans supermarket announced

(May 7, 2015 - WCVB-TV) WESTWOOD, Mass. —Wegmans announced their fourth Massachusetts location will open to the public on Sunday, Oct. 11. 

The store, still under construction, be located on University Avenue in Westwood, near the Route 128 Amtrak Station. 

Best Supermarkets of 2015 ranked

When finished, the Westwood Wegmans will be a 122,000 square-foot supermarket including a Market Cafe with indoor and outdoor seating and a complete wine and beer shop.

(May 4, 2015 - ASHEVILLE, N.C. — New England Development, a retail and outlet mall developer based in the Boston suburb of Newton, Mass., has opened the 75-store Asheville Outlets located at 800 Brevard Road in Asheville. The 325,000-square-foot, open-air outlet center houses such brands as Ann Taylor Factory Store, Banana Republic Factory Store, Brooks Brothers Factory Store, Coach, Cole Haan, GAP Factory Store, J. Crew Factory, Nike Factory Store, Tommy Hilfiger, Under Armour, and Vera Bradley Outlet.

Ready to shop! Asheville Outlets opens, draws thousands

(May 1, 2015: Asheville Citizen-Times) 

ASHEVILLE – For the first time in years, the parking lots are full again at 800 Brevard Road.

Once the site of the long-shuttered Biltmore Square Mall, the new Asheville Outlets attracted thousands of people to its 325,000-square-foot retail center even before doors opened to shoppers 10 a.m. Friday.

By 8:30 a.m., mother-and-son duo Cindy Cox and Trevor Cox were already standing in the growing line outside of Rack Room Shoes, which was giving away $35 gift cards to the first 50 customers.

New England Development opens Asheville Outlets

(April 30, 2015 - ICSC Global Outlet Newsbrief) New England Development tonight will celebrate the grand opening of Asheville (N.C.) Outlets with a its Open Doors Open Hearts Charity Preview Night. The $20 price of each ticket will go to one of 20 local charities, as selected by each purchaser. NED will hold the ribbon cutting tomorrow morning, May 1, at the 350,000-sf center, its second outlet center after opening Palm Beach Outlets in 2014.

New Charging Stations Revealed at Asheville Outlets

(April 18, 2015 - News ABC 13) ASHEVILLE, N.C. -- Recharging your battery while you shop at what's about to be the newest mall in the mountains. The Asheville Outlets unveiled two electric car charging stations this morning. Officials say they'll be convenient for visitors who can plug in and get a free charge while browsing and buying at the shopping complex. Electric car enthusiasts say this convenience makes the vehicles a more practical option. Two more stations will be installed soon. All are expected to be operational in time for the Asheville Outlets grand opening on May 1st.

MarketPlace Again Hosting St. Baldrick’s Shave Event

MarketPlace Development, the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey and LaGuardia (LGA) airline partners are taking part in the annual St. Baldrick’s Shave event, which will be held May 11.

During the event, airport employees have their heads shaved to stand in solidarity with and raise money for kids fighting cancer.

Earth Day Celebration at Palm Beach Outlets

In honor of Earth Day, which launched on April 22, 1970, Palm Beach Outlets and the City of West Palm Beach will play host to a number of local nonprofits that will be sharing what they do to encourage environmental stewardship and how they can help individuals become more ecofriendly.
