Philadelphia Marketplace Food & Shops to Hold Runway Fashion Show

PHILADELPHIA — July 13, 2015 — The runways at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) have never looked so good. On Friday, July 17, Philadelphia Marketplace Food & Shops will host a fashion show featuring summer and fall’s hottest looks, all of which can be found at stores within the airport. The Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleaders will be on-hand to serve as models for the show. They will walk the runway to show off the latest clothing, accessories and luggage from Philadelphia Marketplace retailers including GAP, Brooks Brothers, Brighton Collectibles, Afaze, Roster, Swarovski, TUMI and more.

“The fashion show is a great opportunity not only for us to introduce our merchants and their products to the traveling public, but to give passengers something fun to do while they are at PHL,” said Mel Hannah, vice president and general manager of Philadelphia Marketplace Food & Shops. The ‘runway’ show will begin at 2 p.m. in the B/C Connector Food Court. For more information about more than 170 concessions and services offered at PHL, please visit www.philamarketplace.com.
