(April 3, 2015) LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – The walls are up, the roof is on, and the interior work is beginning on the new Outlets of Little Rock.
“I’m really excited to see what new stores are going to come in there,” said Blair Arnold of southwest Little Rock. “I can’t wait to go shop there.” Roughly 75 different stores will open inside the 325,000 square foot facility in Otter Creek this fall. Cavender’s Boot City and David’s Burgers will also open nearby later this year.
“We are really shocked. We just never knew that it would develop out here like this,” said longtime Alexander resident Cheryl Shell. “It’s going to bring a lot of jobs and it’s going to bring a lot of visitors here to Little Rock.” Shell says she’s most excited to keep her money here in Arkansas as opposed to shopping trips to Branson.
So far China Max, Dress Barn, Express, Gymboree, Kay Jewelers, The Children’s Place, Francesca’s, Charlotte Russe, and Old Navy have all applied for construction permits from the city. The rest of the tenants are expected to be released later this spring.
