LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – On Thursday, THV11 got a first peek inside all of the construction at the new Outlets at Little Rock.
The walls have been built in a matter of weeks. It seems like just a few months ago, we were showing you video of just dirt sitting in the lot.
Now, walls are up and roads are built.
Michael Barelli with the development firm out of New England said 75 stores are going into this shopping center, but he will not announce the stores until this spring.
The tenants will all be national retailers and “fashion-oriented at discount prices,” with some stores completely new to Little Rock.
Barelli was in town on Thursday, and said he’s very pleased with the progress of construction.
“The fact that we’ve got all the steel up for every one of the buildings here, and we’re starting to really close in those buildings. Starting to build walls for our tenants. Putting the finishings up. Those are all things happening right now,” said Barelli.
This will be the first outlet mall in central Arkansas. No exact opening date has been chosen yet.
The Outlets at Little Rock has a Facebook page that Barelli says they’ve been getting a lot of input from Arkansans on.
