BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. — The Asheville Outlets is now working with Ingles to extend the Tools for Schools supply drive.

Shoppers can now donate at three different stores or in the food court from now until Sept. 7.

The program distributes school supplies to needy families around the community including backpacks, binders, pencils and notebooks.

“Ingles and Eblen Charities have teamed up to do this, and we just wanted to be a part of it,” Sharon Morgan, Asheville Outlets general manager, said. “We’re very much a part of this community now, we very much support the schools and the children going to school.”

There are collection boxes at the Go! Games and Toys, Vera Bradley, and Zales stores at the outlets.
