(April 18, 2015 – News ABC 13) ASHEVILLE, N.C. — Recharging your battery while you shop at what’s about to be the newest mall in the mountains. The Asheville Outlets unveiled two electric car charging stations this morning. Officials say they’ll be convenient for visitors who can plug in and get a free charge while browsing and buying at the shopping complex. Electric car enthusiasts say this convenience makes the vehicles a more practical option. Two more stations will be installed soon. All are expected to be operational in time for the Asheville Outlets grand opening on May 1st.
