ALTOONA, IOWA (November 2025) – The Outlets of Des Moines Annual Tree Lighting Celebration will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. featuring a special appearance from The Grinch from Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical.
From 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. visitors can “find their Max and steal a heart” by adopting a furry friend from the Animal Rescue League of Iowa, who will be on-site for a canine adoption event. Guests can also enjoy a special holiday performance by the Lutheran Church of the Cross singers and brass section from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with the official tree lighting taking place at 6:00 p.m.
