(April 30, 2015 – ICSC Global Outlet Newsbrief) New England Development tonight will celebrate the grand opening of Asheville (N.C.) Outlets with a its Open Doors Open Hearts Charity Preview Night. The $20 price of each ticket will go to one of 20 local charities, as selected by each purchaser. NED will hold the ribbon cutting tomorrow morning, May 1, at the 350,000-sf center, its second outlet center after opening Palm Beach Outlets in 2014. Asheville Outlets, a complete rebuild of the defunct Biltmore Square Mall, is on Interstate 26 one mile south of Interstate 40, about four miles from downtown Asheville and adjacent to the Biltmore Estate.
Fifty stores are ready for the opening, with space for another 20. Tenants include two anchors – Dillard’s Clearance Center and Field & Stream. Other tenants include American Eagle Outfitters, Banana Republic Factory Store, Coach, Express Factory Outlet, Forever 21, Gap Outlet, Hanesbrands, J.Crew Factory, Nike Factory Store, Tommy Hilfiger, Under Armour, VF Outlet and West Elm Outlet.
